Toys For Tots 2018

The Mount Vernon Fire Department is representing the Marine Corps Toys For Tots to provide Knox County needy families with toys for their children this Christmas season. We are asking for the Knox County community to support this wonderful charity. Anyone wishing to help us, may drop off or send monetary donations to the Mount Vernon Fire Department and or new, unwrapped toys at the following fire departments:
Mount Vernon Fire Department at 200 West Gambier Street
Central Ohio Joint Fire District at 5138 Columbus Road Centerburg
Eastern Knox County Joint Fire District at 7 West Walnut Street Danville
Bladensburg Fire Department at 3790 Market Street
College Township Fire Department at 102 East Brooklyn Street Gambier

Please visit knox-county-oh.toysfortots.org, for more Toys for Tots information, or if your business would like to help collect toys. All monetary and toy contributions will remain in Knox County. We are pleased to announce that Toys For Tots will be providing all toy needs for Interchurch and Salvation Army of Knox County this year. Donations will be accepted through December 22nd at the firehouses listed above.

Toys for Tots never solicits. We rely on the generous support of the general public and business donors. Only give donations to a uniformed firefighter (at a firehouse) or to the Knox County Toys For Tots photo identified coordinator. Local business toy drives are also great places to donate to as they have legitimate Toys for Tots donation boxes.

If you are a low-income family in need of toys, please visit the website above and find out the information for requesting toys. Call the Mount Vernon Fire Department at 740:393-9515 between the hours of 8-4 M-F if you have any questions. Thank you for making Christmas wishes come true!
