Knox County Sheriff’s Report – Nov 20, 2018

A complainant of Hickory Street in Mount Vernon called the Knox County Sheriff’s Office to report that their car had been vandalized and all four tires had bee “slashed”. Photos were taken of the damages, statement form collected and a report was filed on November 19th, 2018.
Deputies assisted Adult Probation Officers in locating and arresting two individuals that were in violation of their pre-trial release supervision. Edward E Smith Jr, of Mount Vernon, was in possession of drug paraphernalia. A summons was issued to Smith for the drug paraphernalia and he was transported to the jail without incident. Samantha L Cunningham, of Mount Vernon, was released by her probation officer due to having an alleged medical emergency. The incident occurred on November 19th, 2018.
