Governor DeWine Signs Bills Into Law

(COLUMBUS, Ohio)—Ohio Governor Mike DeWine signed the following bills into law:

  • House Bill 4, sponsored by Representative Phil Plummer and Representative Susan Manchester, regards county child abuse and neglect memorandums of understanding, cross-reporting of child abuse and neglect reports by public children services agencies to law enforcement agencies, notification of reporter rights, home assessor eligibility, and creation of the youth and family ombudsman office.

Take-Home Antibiotic Therapies may Improve Health Outcomes, Lower Costs, for Patients with Drug Use-Associated Infective Endocarditis

Often fatal, endocarditis remains a dangerous but largely unknown health threat for people who inject drugs.
