The Mount Vernon FFA Chapter competed in the Parliamentary Procedure and job interview contest on Friday, November 16, in Fredericktown. Parliamentary Procedure encourages students to learn to effectively participate in formal business meetings and to develop leadership and problem-solving skills. Attending this competition is a great way for members to practice being active and involved participants of an organization.  These learned skills will be applicable in their adult lives.  All three MV teams received Bronze ratings.

Three of the members in the chapter participated in the Job interview competition. Contestants had to submit a cover letter, resume, job application and follow up letter as well as sit through an interview with a potential employer.  Wyatt Kissell placed second in the contest and will advance to District competition on Monday, November 19, 2018.
