The Mount Vernon Grapevine has two ad types:
Square Image Ads
Which consist of an image and a link to a web page. The maximum size of the image is 200×200 pixels. If it is bigger, it will be scaled down. The image must be in jpeg, gif or png format.
these cost $3/day.
Which consist of an image and a link to a web page. The image should be much wider than it is tall, ideally about 8 times as wide. The maximum size is 640 pixels wide by 98 pixels high. Once again, if it is bigger, it will be scaled down. As per the Square Image Ads, acceptable formats are jpeg, gif or png.
these cost $6/day.
Ads can run from 7 to 60 days.
Do I Pay “Per Click”?
No. There are no additional fees charged when your ad is clicked.
Where Is My Ad Displayed?
Square ads are displayed at the top of the left column of the most commonly visited pages, such as the front page, news story pages and tourism guide “place” pages. Banner ads are displayed at the top and bottom of some pages, such as newspaper story pages.
How Do Rotating Ads Work?
When more than one banner or square ad is active, ads of the same type are rotated, with equal time given for the displaying of each. For example, if you and three other advertisers are currently running banner ads, your ad will appear about 25% of the time.
