Offenses

July 26
• Units were dispatched to Verizon Wireless, located at 1558 Coshocton Avenue, in reference to fraud. A report was taken for documentation.

• Units were advised of a possible house fire on Madison Street near Chester Street. Units arrived on the scene and assisted the Mount Vernon Fire Department. The MVFD Captain advised the fire may have been started in the basement in a pile of trash. Units were advised they did not think the fire was suspicious. A report was taken for documentation.

July 27
• An officer was dispatched to Bullock’s, located at 604 West High Street, in reference to a traffic complaint. Nothing further at this time.

July 28
• An officer responded to an address on Calhoun Street, referencing a disturbance. A report was forwarded to the City Law Director for review. A report was filed.

• An officer was dispatched to Walmart, at 1575 Coshocton Avenue, for a theft. Hunter Durbin was issued a summons for theft.

• Officers responded to a disturbance on West Chestnut Street. A report was taken and being forwarded to the City Law Director’s Office for review of charges.

• Units responded to Highmeadow Drive for a report of harassment. Douglas Morris was subsequently arrested for menacing by stalking.

July 29
• Units were dispatched to West Sugar Street for a reported violation of a protection order.

July 30
• Officers were dispatched to Speedway Gas Station, located at 1 Columbus Road, in reference to a theft.

• Units were dispatched to the area of West Hamtramck Street for a report of a stolen license plate.

• Douglas L. Morris was charged with menacing by stalking.
• Jeffrey A. Mussard was cited for failure to control/weaving course.
• Mary J. White was cited for expired license plates.

July 29
• Leif R. Autzen was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
• Brittany Christine was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
• William S. Fuller was cited for OVI – .08 or more alcohol per 210 liters of breath, driving under an FRA suspension, and driving under the influence.

• Kyler D. Kent was cited for driving in marked/continuous lines.

July 30
• Katara M. Bennett was charged with theft.
• Anthony Harrington was cited for expired license plates.
• Jeremy S. Sparkman was cited for driving under an FRA suspension and operating with the number of the former owner.
• Richard J. Bonnette II was cited for driving under an FRA suspension.
