July 28
• A deputy was called to East Gambier Street in Mount Vernon to take a report of a deer crash. A complainant stated that he hit a deer at Thayer Road and Columbus Road in his work van and needed a report for insurance purposes. Nothing further at this time.

• The Knox County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by the Knox County Fair Board in reference to a fake identification card being used to purchase alcohol. Deputies made contact with the individual in question, verified the subject’s age, and issued a summons.

July 29
• The Knox County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence in Millwood to attempt to serve a warrant issued out of the Mount Vernon Municipal Court. Deputies located the subject, arrested him, and transported him to the Knox County Jail.

• Knox County Deputies responded to a residence in reference to a disturbance. Deputies determined it was a verbal argument. One party involved agreed to leave for the night to help keep peace. An incident report was filed.

• A female came to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office (fairgrounds location) to report a TPO Violation.

• Deputies responded to an injured deer on Wooster Road. Deputies arrived and the deer was dispatched. A resident nearby took possession of the deer and was provided with a deer receipt.

• Deputies were flagged down in reference to a vandalism that occurred at the fairgrounds. A report was taken for documentation.

• A male turned in a found phone to the Sheriff’s Office.

• A deputy advised he had been bitten by a dog while investigating a call for service. The owner of the dog was cited by the Knox County Dog Warden and a report was made for documentation.

• A deputy responded to a McKinley Road address on a vandalism complaint because a window was broken by a rock at their residence. Photos of the damage were taken and the incident was documented.

July 30
• A deputy was dispatched to Old Mansfield Road to investigate a complaint of harassment. A complainant stated that he had received a message from an unknown person insulting him. The complainant wanted to document the incident in case it continues. Nothing further at this time.

• Deputies responded to a report of an injury crash on Upper Fredericktown Road. A complainant reported that an unknown vehicle collided with his mirror causing unknown injuries. The driver was transported by ambulance and a crash report was taken.

• Deputies were dispatched to a residence where the owner stated there was to be no one on or in the property. Deputies made contact with two individuals where they were advised of the complaint and warned on criminal trespass. The property owner gave verbal consent to search the structure in which the suspects were trespassing in. Deputies seized drug paraphernalia which was then placed into evidence for destruction. A report was made for documentation.
