Twenty-Five Found Guilty in Mount Vernon Municipal Court – July 28, 2023

 

MOUNT VERNON – Judge John Thatcher found twenty-five guilty after hearings were held in the Mount Vernon Municipal Court between July 24, 2023, and July 28, 2023.

 

July 24
• Marisol Acosta, 26, of Lakewood, was found guilty of persisting disorderly conduct.
• Katherine Lehmkuhl, 45, of Fredericktown, was found guilty of operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and/or a drug of abuse and failure to use reasonable control.
Assistant Law Director, Brittany Whitney, prosecuted these cases on behalf of the State of Ohio.

 

July 25

• Ashley Givens, 35, of Frazeysburg, was found guilty of possession of marihuana and driving without a valid driver’s license.
• Brenden Moore, 41, of Howard, was found guilty of possession of drug paraphernalia and operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and/or a drug of abuse.
• Joshua Etue, 46, of Mount Gilead, was found guilty of operating a vehicle without a valid driver’s license.
• Robert Clark II, 28, of Mount Vernon was found guilty of assault.
• Thomas Underwood, 75, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of criminal trespass.
• Stephanie Peach, 35, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of theft.
• Richard Johnson, 40, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of two counts of domestic violence and three counts of aggravated menacing.
• Patricia Humphrey, 38, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of failure to confine a dog.
• David Gray, 31, of Howard, was found guilty of operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and/or a drug of abuse.
• Christopher Christine, 28, of Columbus, was found guilty of operating a vehicle without a valid driver’s license.
• Jack Bookhamer, 33, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of driving under an FRA suspension.
• Jackie Heck, 37, of Newark, was found guilty of speeding.
• Dawn Thompson, 58, of Mansfield, was found guilty of speeding.
• Cody Kurutz, 29, of Newark, was found guilty of speeding.
Assistant Law Director, Brittany Whitney, prosecuted the Johnson and Starr cases on behalf of the City of Mount Vernon. Law Director, Robert Broeren, prosecuted all other cases on behalf of the City of Mount Vernon, the State of Ohio, and the Villages of Centerburg, Danville, Fredericktown, and Gambier.

 

July 26
• Brady Lester, 18, of Fredericktown, was found guilty of passing a stopped school bus.

Assistant Law Director, Brittany Whitney, prosecuted this on behalf of the State of Ohio.

 

July 28

• Nathaniel Wagner, 31, of Grove City, was found guilty of aggravated menacing.
• Tanner Plichta, 23, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of disorderly conduct in the presence of EMS personnel.
• Doria Bowens, 67 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of two counts of failure to confine a dog.
• Randee Kidd, 23, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of possession of marijuana.
• Emily Hill, 20, of Saint Louisville, was found guilty of speeding.
• Lauralee Biddle, 35, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of driving under a 12-point license suspension.
• Brydan McDermott, 20, of Mansfield, was found guilty of driving under an FRA license suspension and unlawful license plates.
• Parker Wise, 20, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of speeding.
