Full-Time
180 days. 6.5 hours per day. 4-year or 2-year degree in any subject. $15/hr
The successful candidate will assist with or coordinate the following:
- Academic Skills Testing as part of a special education students Evaluation Team Report (ETR) (on and off campus)
- As needed, assist with maintaining teacher-used academic databases (ex., STAR, Renaissance, MAP).
- Administer screening assessments to students as directed by the building principal(s).
- Confer with the teacher on students’ progress and coordinate with teachers to tutor at-risk students in core subjects.
(Jr/Sr building)
- Review RTI data to present potential testing for special education services.
(Elementary & Jr/Sr)
- Assist the teacher(s) in preparing materials and equipment for direct instructional activity.
- Assist the teacher in preparing for changing curriculum to meet the needs of students with diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds, learning styles, and special needs.
- Serve as a substitute teacher when necessary.
- Assist in proctoring ACT testing and accommodations for students with special services.
- Assist in proctoring State/District-wide testing.
- Tutor special needs students as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by building/district administration
