May 22
• A deputy was advised of a vandalism complaint that was on the phone. Dispatch transferred the complainant to the deputy’s phone where contact was made.

• A complainant advised an unknown person texted him to advise that if the complainant did not send him 2800 dollars, the author of the text would release to the internet harmful material of the complainant.

• A complainant advised that his new neighbor stole old farm tractor attachments and a hay wagon from his property. The new neighbor stated that he told his work crew to clean up a junk pile at the back of the property. His work crew removed these items from the complainant’s property without permission. The deputy attempted to come up with a resolution to the incident between the neighbors.

• A caller reported smoke coming from her bathroom. Upon the arrival of the Fire Department, it was determined the smoke was from burnt dinner. The caller is an elderly woman whose living conditions are concerning. A copy of this report is being forwarded to Adult Protective Services.

• Deputies were dispatched to a possible overdose at a residence on Dunham Road. Deputies arrived on the scene and EMS. The individual was stabilized and transported to the Knox Community Hospital. A report was generated for documentation.

May 23
• Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Columbus Road on a possible disturbance. A complainant called in stating that he and his wife were in a verbal argument and needed deputies to respond to the residence. Deputies determined that nothing physical occurred and there were no threats. Deputies warned both individuals on their conduct and a report was written.
