April 14
• A deputy was approached at Ariel Foundation Park by a male who was having a crisis. After a conversation, the male individual was convinced to voluntarily go to the hospital. He was transported by a deputy to Knox Community Hospital.

• Deputies were dispatched to a domestic violence that took place in a car. The male complainant also said that the female half stole some of his property. A report was taken for documentation.

April 15
• A complainant called and reported that individuals were having a fire and there was a loud explosion. The complainant advised that there has also been an ongoing issue with them trespassing on their property. They requested a report for documentation of trespassing.

• A deputy was dispatched to Columbus Road to investigate a complaint of a shed that had been broken into. The complainant stated that her shed had been broken into and some of her belongings had been taken. Nothing further at this time.

• Deputies were dispatched to the 13000 block of Chardon Road in reference to an injured animal. Upon arrival, Deputies euthanized the animal and a report was taken for documentation.

• A mother came to the Sheriff’s Office to report that her 18-year-old son had gone missing. The deputy investigating the matter asked for Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office to check the welfare at his last known address. Contact with the male was made by Coshocton County and he was okay.

• Deputies responded to a residence on Hopewell Drive in reference to a mental male. The male was transported to the Knox Community Hospital where he spoke with BHP.

• A report of an intoxicated male walking in traffic on Nashville Road was reported. Deputies, Danville Police and Medics responded. The male was found on the roadway then taken into custody. He was transported to Knox Community Hospital by medics. After he was cleared from the hospital he was transported to the Knox County Jail.

• Deputies responded to a residence on Daniel’s Road in reference to an assault that had taken place. The deputies collected photos from those involved as well as statement forms. This incident is being forwarded to the Juvenile Prosecutor for review of potential charges.

April 16
• A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle on By-Pass Road for a moving violation. During the course of the traffic stop a drug-sniffing K-9 was used to sniff the vehicle and had a positive alert to the odor of narcotics. After a search, drugs, drug abuse instruments, and drug paraphernalia were found. The incident requires further investigation.

• A complainant advised someone used her identity to open a phone line in her name.

• A deputy initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle on Yauger Road for an equipment violation. During the traffic stop, the deputy determined that the driver was going through a mental health crisis and was trying to drive to the Knox Community Hospital to speak to Behavioral Health Representative. The deputy followed the woman to the hospital and assisted her in being able to speak to a BHP representative. Marijuana was located in the vehicle and seized for destruction.
