What We Need

We are looking for an Executive Assistant and HR Specialist to join our team! The ideal candidate should be able to pay close attention to details, possess general computer skills including managing email and calendar functions, and be skilled at problem solving. We’re looking for a friendly “people person” who is able to understand others’ feelings and reactions when dealing with HR issues involving Replex employees. The candidate also the needs to efficiently, confidentially, and effectively handle all routine HR matters including payroll questions, benefits enrollment, attendance issues, and assisting employees as they learn how to sign in and complete courses in Replex University, our online internal Replex learning management system.

Key Responsibilities

1. Review and sort email for the President, several times/day. Forward emails to others as appropriate for action. Respond to emails on behalf of the President, as appropriate.

2. Manage the President’s calendar.

3. Schedule and attend meetings, take minutes, and produce follow-up documentation including action lists.

4. Meet with employees during work hours to answer any HR questions and assist with resolving any HR issues. The EA will access HR support from Replex’s HR Director, an outside fractional consultant.

5. Create a welcoming and positive new hire experience for new employees including completing orientation and paperwork, and scheduling onboarding training sessions.

6. Track employee absences and provide weekly updates to plant manager and HR Director

Competencies & Traits

If you possess excellent oral and written communication details, are intelligent, reliable, service oriented, detail oriented, efficient, friendly, and can maintain confidentiality, then this is the perfect position for you. You need general computer skills to be successful in the role.

Education: High School diploma or equivalent required, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Work Schedule:

This position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week.

This position is on-site. Remote work is not available for this position.
