Robertson Truck Group, a family owned and operated business since 1984 specializing in quality, preowned medium and heavy-duty trucks and equipment is searching for an Inventory Manager to join our team!
Location: Mount Vernon, OH 43050
Schedule: Full time, Monday through Friday, no weekends or evenings
Responsibilities:
- Collect detailed information on all incoming inventory (semi trucks, trailers, truck bodies and associated equipment), including make, model, year, VIN number, engine specifications, and any additional features or upgrades
- Input incoming inventory information into the dealership’s inventory system, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Verify that all information entered into the system is correct, and correct any errors in a timely manner
- Ensure all trucks/equipment are properly photographed and tagged for inventory purposes
- Communicate with the sales team to ensure that the information entered into the inventory system is up-to-date and accurate.
- Perform regular audits of the inventory system to ensure accuracy and completeness of information
- Support both the Mount Vernon and Reynoldsburg dealerships with inventory onboarding as needed
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an inventory check-in manager, or a similar role in a dealership or automotive setting preferred
- Comfortable with driving/operating heavy equipment around parking lots
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, inventory management systems and ability to use basic office equipment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Positive work attitude and willingness to work with fellow team members
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively
- Must have valid driver license
- Ability to maintain excellent housekeeping habits in work area

Pay: $35,000.00 – $39,000.00 per year
