April 5
• An officer was dispatched to Shalimar Drive for an assault.
• An officer received a call about a theft from Chestnut Street. A report was taken. Nothing further at this time.
• An officer responded to the Mount Vernon Police Department 5 North Gay Street, Mount Vernon, Ohio for a report of a theft. An investigation is pending.

April 6
• An officer was dispatched to East Pleasant Street for a 911 hang-up.
• An officer responded to Pleasant Street in reference to a theft. A report was taken. Nothing further at this time.
• An officer was dispatched to Shirley Avenue for a vandalism.
• An officer responded to Monroe Street for a report of criminal mischief. This investigation is pending.

April 7
• An officer was dispatched to Laurel Valley Drive in reference to a fraud. Nothing further at this time.
• Units were dispatched to East Gambier Street in reference to a disturbance. Nothing further at this time.
• Units responded to Bullocks Drive-Thu, located at 400 Vernonview Drive, Mount Vernon, Ohio 43050 in reference to a male being assaulted. The suspect was arrested. Nothing further.

• An officer received a call about a theft on McKinley Street. A report was taken. Nothing further at this time.

• Units responded to the area of Pleasant Street for a domestic violence.
• Units were dispatched to the area of North Sandusky Street and West Sugar Street for a disturbance. A reprot was taken and sent ot he Prosecutor for review. Nothing further.
