March 30
• A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle for an equipment violation on Parrot Street in Mount Vernon. During the course of the traffic stop, a drug-sniffing K-9 was used to sniff the vehicle with a positive alert. The front passenger, Joshua Devore, was in possession of methamphetamine, drug abuse instruments, and drug paraphernalia. Joshua is currently on probation with Licking County and his probationers wanted him arrested for a probation violation. He was transported to Utica and transferred into Licking County’s custody.

• A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle for expired registration. The driver did not have a valid driver’s license and was in possession of marijuana. The driver was issued a citation for not having a license. The owner of the vehicle came to the scene to take possession of the vehicle. The marijuana was collected and put into
evidence for destruction.

• A deputy received information that Danielle Maynard had an active warrant and was at a residence on Pipesville Road.

• A deputy was dispatched to Losh Road on a female threatening to harm herself. A deputy arrived and spoke with the individual. The female stated that she wanted to go to the hospital for a mental health evaluation. A report was taken to document the incident. Nothing further at this time.

• A deputy was dispatched to Losh Road to investigate a complaint of an unruly juvenile. A deputy arrived on the scene and a report was taken. Nothing further at this time.

March 31
• Deputies with the Knox County Sheriff’s Office executed an arrest warrant on Terry L. Frazee, of Howard Ohio, for violating the terms of a protection order. Mr. Frazee was transported to the Knox County Jail without incident.

• Deputies were dispatched to Lower Green Valley Road in reference to an unruly juvenile. A report was taken for documentation.

April 1
• A complainant came to the Sheriff’s Office to report an incident of Domestic Violence.

• An injured deer was dispatched at the incident location. This report was generated for documentation.

April 2
• Deputies were dispatched to a wooded area in Mount Vernon on a trespassing call. The complainant and caretaker of the property advised that an individual who had been removed from the area before had come back and set up a campsite. Deputies made contact with the individual and advised him that he was trespassing. The owner of the property did advise the individual that he was trespassed via phone. He was also warned by deputies that he may be arrested if he were to come back. Approximately an hour later another call came in that he was back on the property. Deputies responded and immediately placed the subject under arrest for criminal trespass. Upon arrest, he did admit that he had a small amount of marijuana in the front of his bag. Once at the jail a small amount of marijuana was found and confiscated by deputies and placed in evidence for disposal.

• A complainant advised his bicycle was stolen from the Kenyon Athletic Center and a report was made on his behalf.

• A deputy spoke with a complainant at the Knox County Sheriff’s Office. The complainant wanted to report damage to the gravel road that he lives on.

• A deputy spoke to a complainant at the Knox County Sheriff’s Office. The complainant wanted to report that he had items taken from a storage unit.

April 3
• Deputies were dispatched to Nashville Road to investigate a disturbance. Deputies arrived on the scene and separated the parties. An investigation was conducted and a report was taken. Nothing further at this time.

• Deputies were dispatched to Kenyon Campus Security to recover drug paraphernalia.
