March 24
•Deputies attempted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Upper Gilchrist Road for operating without headlights/taillights. A vehicle pursuit ensued and the suspect vehicle was spiked and crashed out on New Gambier Road. Both subjects in the vehicle were transported to the hospital and later taken to the Knox County Jail.

•A complainant called the Knox County Sheriff’s Office in reference to suspicious persons and activity at the Dollar General Store in Martinsburg. A report was filed.

•A complainant called the Knox County Sheriff’s Office to report an Amazon package was stolen/missing from their front porch. A report was filed at the complainant’s request.

March 25
•An injured deer was dispatched with one office-issued 9mm round in a field off of Vernon View Drive. A report was made for documentation.

March 26
•Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Wooster Road on a suicidal male. The complainant called 911 advising that his son was making suicidal threats and needed deputies to respond to the residence. The individual was located and transported to the Knox Community Hospital and Pink-Slipped mandating a mental health evaluation. Statements were collected and a report was written.

•A deputy was dispatched to investigate a complaint. The complainant stated he believes someone tried to break into his utility trailer he was pulling behind his truck. The complainant stated there was some damage to the door and needed a report for insurance purposes. Nothing further at this time.

•A deputy was dispatched to the location of the Martinsburg Marathon on a verbal altercation. Deputies responded and found this to be an altercation over a missing juvenile.

•Deputies were dispatched to Martinsburg Road on an injury accident. Once on the scene, deputies conducted the crash investigation and the driver was transported to Knox Community Hospital for evaluation. Nothing further at this time.

•A deputy was dispatched to the Kenyon College Campus Safety Office to collect drug paraphernalia that was located on campus. The drug paraphernalia was seized by the deputy to be placed into evidence for destruction. A report was written for documentation.
