March 8

•A male called in to dispatch to speak with a deputy about an unknown person harassing him online. The deputy spoke with the male and gave him advice. A report was generated for documentation and further investigation.

•Deputies were dispatched to a call on Smith Road in reference to a vandalism that took place the night before. A report was taken for documentation.

•Deputies were dispatched to a Mount Vernon home on a juvenile who was causing a disturbance. The juvenile, who is on probation, was arrested and taken to Muskingum Juvenile Facility.

•A complainant reported receiving threats from a former employee.

•A complainant came to the Sheriff’s Office to report that person(s) unknown had used his name to take out a loan.

•A domestic violence incident occurred at a Columbus Road address near Mount Vernon. The male suspect was arrested for his involvement. The female victim was transported to the Knox Community Hospital for injuries she sustained during the incident.

March 9
•Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Mink Street on a possible suicidal male. Deputies were able to locate this individual at this residence and determined that he would be transported to the Knox
Community Hospital and Pink Slipped mandating a mental health evaluation. A report was written for documentation.

•Assistance was requested from the Ohio State Highway Patrol in reference to one of their troopers who was in pursuit of a vehicle in Knox County. A deputy and a Fredericktown Police officer were able to intercept the pursuit near the Knox County/Morrow County line and continue with it until its conclusion roughly one mile inside of Morrow County on State Route 95. A male suspect was taken into custody by the Ohio State Highway Patrol without incident.
