Here is an update of 2022 from Fredericktown Interchurch:Estimated 2022 stats for Fredericktown Interchurch programs:
Financial aid – 82 households = $11,458.72
Food Pantry – 239 households = 772 meals = 6,948 meals
Gas vouchers – 16
Clothing vouchers – 21 households = 92 people
Interchurch also provided Summer Lunches for 27 students (of our clients) = 430+ meals, gave 37 gift cards to students (of our clients) for school supplies at Staples and with the help of the Fredericktown community served 44 families (our clients) with Christmas Food basket and 100+ children (of our clients) with toys and gifts – Thank you Fredericktown Community Fire Dept.
It would be impossible for Interchurch to continue our programs and serve those in need within our community without your generosity. Your donations are important to us but we ask that you be thoughtful and respectful to our request that you never leave donations outside – we cannot accept food that has been left outside and Thrift Store donations can be ruined by the weather, animals and other people who go through the donations. Our hours are Monday – Friday 10-4, closings are posted on Facebook. Our Food Pantry is pretty full but if you, your business, your church or organization would like to collect food, we are in need of saltine crackers, gluten-free food items, instant mashed potatoes and taxable items such as paper towels, small bottles of dish soap, hygiene products and cleaning products. Thrift Store is full as well but we always need towels and holiday decorations and we still ask that you limit donations to 2 bags/boxes at a time. It is best to call in to see if we are taking donations and if we are in need of specific items – especially items for Food Pantry.
