February 26
• During the patrol of Sutton Beach, Apple Valley, an officer observed trash thrown on the ground by a parked vehicle occupied twice. Upon investigating, the officer detected a strong odor of marijuana. Upon confronting the occupants, they were determined to be impaired. A bag of marijuana was surrendered. The officer also discovered drug paraphernalia. All illegal items were confiscated. A sober driver arrived to pick up the two impaired individuals.
• Gas drive-off. The officer identified and contacted the suspect, who then returned to pay for the fuel. It was determined to be a malfunction with the pump credit card device. – S. Market St.

• Conducted a well-being check on a citizen – in the 1600 block of Apple Valley Dr.
• Officer observed a dog running loose and was able to catch it and determine its owner. The dog was returned to the owner – Highland Hills Dr., Apple Valley.
• Suspicious vehicle w/persons – Hunter Rd.

• Conducted a well-being check of an individual – in the 800 block of S. Market St.
• Assisted the Sheriff’s Office – in the 30000 block of Biggs Rd.
• Suicide threat – East Walnut St.

• K-9 traffic detail – Apple Valley Dr./Northridge Heights Dr., Apple Valley.
• Civil issue – Lakeview Ct., Apple Valley.

• Assisted Howard Twp. Water Dept. reference a water alarm.
• Internet crime (fraud) – in the 15000 block of Millersburg Rd.

• A 48 yr. old male from Columbus was issued a traffic citation for speed.
• A 19 yr. old female from Danville was issued a traffic citation for an expired license plate.
• A 35 yr. old male from Malta was issued a traffic citation for speed.
• Suspicious vehicle – in the 3000 block of Apple Valley Dr., Apple Valley.
• Disturbance – in the 100 block of East Ross St.
