March 3
• A deputy took a report of fraud. The complainant stated his employer notified him that someone attempted to file for unemployment in his name. The complainant’s employer advised him to have a report made of the incident. Nothing further at this time.

• A complainant advised, that sometime in the last week, his Stihl RCM MS462 chainsaw was taken from his open garage.

March 4
• A complainant called to report that his son was under the influence of an unknown substance and he suspected that he was overdosing. Deputies responded and made contact with all parties. While on the scene, possible drugs were collected to be sent for testing and a report was completed for documentation.

• A victim/complainant called to report a domestic violence incident that occurred at her residence, in which her husband threw items at her. A deputy made contact with the female individual and she advised that she feared her husband would harm her. Deputies were unable to make contact with the subject for follow-up. A report was completed to be sent to the City Law Director for further review.

• A deputy was dispatched to Kenyon College Campus Safety to seize drug paraphernalia that was found on campus. The deputy seized the drug paraphernalia to be placed into evidence for destruction. A report was written for documentation.

• A complainant advised his license plate was missing/stolen from his vehicle. The license plate was entered into L.E.A.D.S. (Law Enforcement Automated Data System) as missing/stolen. A report was made on the complainant’s behalf.

• A complainant advised that juveniles were smoking marijuana and two of them became ill.

• A female having a medical issue was reported on Schenck Creek Road. A medic and Deputy responded to the incident. The patient became unresponsive as emergency personnel was responding. It became apparent that the female was overdosing on drugs and was brought back to an awake state. She was then transported to the Knox Community Hospital by medics. Suspected illegal drugs were seized and then placed into evidence.

March 5
• Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Camp Road on the report of a domestic violence incident. Deputies arrived on the scene and conducted an investigation, resulting in the arrest of one male suspect.

• Deputies observed a male slumped over the wheel of his vehicle in the parking lot of a local business on Coshocton Avenue. When deputies made contact with the male, his driver’s side window was down, and the vehicle was in drive. Deputies woke the male up and conducted a field sobriety test. Deputies did not observe any indicators that the male was under the influence. The male advised he has been working a lot and is struggling with sleep due to a personal tragedy. The male was advised to contact a family member to take him home for his safety and others due to his lack of sleep.
