Deputies Requesting Help with Bicycle Injury Crash

Deputies are looking for information on an injury crash involving a bicyclist. On Saturday, February 4, 2023, around 7:00 am a bicyclist was struck while riding on St. Rt. 95 north of Fredericktown. The cyclist was southbound and was struck from behind by a vehicle just north of Toms Rd. The cyclist had lights displayed and was wearing a reflective vest.
The vehicle involved did not stop and is likely to have damage on the front passenger corner or side. It would have been traveling southbound prior to the incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact the county dispatch center at 740-397-3333 ext.1.

  1. I’m just wondering why it took deputies to seek public help on Feb. 22, on an accident that occurred on Feb. 4?
