Offenses

February 15
•A complainant reported finding drugs on the street on Howard Street. An officer secured a key ring with 12 keys, a spoon, and a metal container containing a white shard-like substance. The items were placed into evidence for destruction.

•An officer was patrolling the area of West Gambier Street near South Sandusky Street. The officer observed a female, riding a bicycle, failing to stop at the stop sign, and riding on the wrong side of the roadway. A traffic stop was initiated. Nothing further at this time.

•An officer responded to a domestic violence complaint on East Pleasant Street. A report was taken and will be sent to the City Law Director’s Office for review for charges.

•Units were dispatched to take a follow-up report about an ongoing investigation. Nothing further.

February 16
•Units were dispatched to the 700 block of West Gambier Street in reference to a disturbance. Nothing further at this time.

•Units were dispatched to the 800 block of West Chestnut Street for a threats call. A report was taken. Nothing further.

•An officer responded to a harassment complaint on Shirley Avenue. A report was taken and will be sent to the City Law Director’s Office for review.

February 17
•Units responded to KCH in reference to a disturbance. Subject were separated and items were collected to be destroyed. Nothing further at this time.

February 18
•An unknown caucasian male wearing a clown mask had stolen a 12-pack of beer and left the area in a white 4-door car with a missing front bumper. Investigation pending.

•An officer responded to the 900 block of South Division Street for fraud. The case will be sent to the Knox County Prosecutor’s Office for review.

•An officer responded to Columbus Road in reference to a vandalism complaint. The complainant reported that someone broke the front windshield of his vehicle.
