Offenses

January 25
An officer was dispatched to the 200 block of North Division Avenue in reference to a theft complaint. This incident is currently under investigation.

An officer was dispatched to the 1600 block of Venture Drive in reference to found drug paraphernalia. The items were collected and placed into evidence to be destroyed at a later date.

January 26
An officer handled an aggravated assault call by phone. A report is being done and charges will be sent up when the Jurisdiction is determined.

An officer received a phone call in reference to missing medication on South Norton Street.

January 27
An officer responded to an inactive disturbance on McGibney Road between a male and a female. A report was taken.

Units were dispatched to the area of Follin Avenue apartments for a homeless male that was sleeping in a skid steer. Upon arrival, we made contact with the complainant and the homeless male. The homeless male was checked out and transported to a friend’s house to stay warm. There were several bottles of alcohol and contraband that were collected to be destroyed.

An officer was dispatched to West Chestnut Street for a harrassment. Robert Humphrey was charged with telecommunication harassment.

An officer was contacted and advised about a theft. The officer made contact with the complainant on Hilltop Drive out front of a residence. Nothing further at this time.

An officer was dispatched to Walmart located at 1575 Coshocton Avenue in reference to found property. Nothing further at this time.

January 28
Officers responded to a fight at the Moss Rose bar, located at 109 West Ohio Avenue, on a report of a fight involving approximately thirty people. Two males were arrested and transported to the Knox County Jail.

Units were dispatched to Chester Street for an active burglary in process. Two suspects were reported and left prior to officers arriving on the scene. Information was collected from the victims. An investigation is pending

January 29
Officers responded to a domestic violence complaint on East Hamtramck Street. A report was taken and is being sent to the City Law Director’s office for review of charges. Nothing further.

January 26
Lori A Richert was charged with possessing drug abuse instruments, illegal use or possession of drugs, and possession of drugs.

Johnny L. Humphrey was charged with a parole violation.

Oscar A. Vance was cited for operator/chauffeur license required.

Shane E. Johnson was cited for Speed Limit – 20mph School Zone.

Ester L. Bagent was cited for 25mph except State Route outside business districts and alleys.

Roger W. Lewis was cited for oversize/weight vehice on local streets.

Connor S. Burke was cited for 25mph except State Route outside business districts and alleys.

Victoria D. Brown was cited for starting and backing vehicles.

Nathan T. Davis was cited for expired license plates.

Savannah T. Harris was cited for driving under an FRA suspension.

January 27
Robert R. Humphrey was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Aaron L. White was cited for operation at a stop sign.

Geraldean B. Moran was cited for an improper left turn at an intersection.

January 28
Bruce A. Casto was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Benjamin C. Harvey was cited for DUS – Child Support/Unpaid Fines.

Jared C. Giganti was cited for driving under an FRA suspension.

January 29
Robert K. Doyle was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Floyd Russell was cited for red light, OVI – Under the influence, and .17 or more of alcohol per 210 liters of breath.

Nikie N. Morris was cited for fictitious license plates.

John K. Shoemaker was cited for failure to control/weaving course.

Mark A. Rapp Jr. was cited for failure to maintain an assured clear distance ahead, DUS – all other suspensions, and failure to stop after a crash on street.

Max L. Franz was cited for license plate light required.
