January 6
A deputy was dispatched to Wall Street to investigate a complaint of threats to the complainant. After speaking with the complainant the deputy took a report. Evidence was collected of the threats. Nothing Further at this time.

Deputies were advised that there was a male at the hospital with a felony warrant. Deputies went to the hospital and arrested the male without incident, and transported him to the jail.

A complainant called the Knox County Sheriff’s Office to report that their employer received a letter advising that they had filed for unemployment when, in fact they had not. At the employers advice the complainant requested a report filed to document the incident.

A complainant called the Sheriff’s Office to report a trespassing incident that occurred the previous day.

January 7
A complainant called to report that an unknown suspect hacked her son’s bank card and was contacting him advising him that his social security number was available on the Internet. A deputy spoke with her via telephone and advice was given. A report was completed for documentation.

An unknown passerby reported that a deer needed dispatched near Bone Road on Martinsburg Road. A deputy responded and the deer was effectively dispatched with 1 round from his patrol rifle. A report was completed for documentation.

A complainant called and reported that a deer needed dispatched on the road by his residence. A deputy responded to the address and the deer was effectively dispatched with two rounds from his patrol rifle. A report was completed for documentation.

A deputy was dispatched to investigate a juvenile walking down the road. A complainant stated that the juvenile appeared to be crying. A deputy arrived and took the juvenile home. Nothing further at this time.

January 8
Deputies responded to a business alarm on Harcourt Road. When deputies arrived on the scene, it was confirmed that the business had been broken into. Deputies searched the business and secured the scene. This incident is currently under investigation.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Winesap Circle in Howard on a possible disturbance. The complainant called in stating that after a verbal argument occurred with her husband, he locked her and her children outside the residence and was refusing to let them back inside the residence. Deputies were able to calm the situation down and warned both parties on their conduct. A report was written for documentation.

An individual came to the Sheriff’s Office to report his medications lost or stolen from his Northview Drive residence on December 15, 2022. A report was taken for documentation.

Deputies dispatched a deer that was involved in a motor vehicle accident in the 12000 block of Upper Fredericktown Road.
