Dispatch advised the complainant of a fraud incident and wished to speak with a deputy by phone. The complainant advised a known individual had been buying things at their store on Zolman Road in Fredericktown, Ohio 43019. The suspect purchased goods and then disputed the charge 10 times with their credit card company. Once the disputes were processed it left the victim with the loss on the price of goods sold. The investigation is ongoing.
A complainant called and reported that her vehicle had been vandalized while it was parked on her property. A report was made on the complainant’s behalf.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Columbus Road in reference to neighbors physically fighting. Deputies arrived on the scene and spoke with the parties who were involved as well as witnesses. Statements and photos were collected and the case will be sent to the Mount Vernon City Law Director’s Office for review. All parties were warned on their conduct.
