Ohio Smart Mobility Summit Moved to July 2021

COLUMBUS – The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT), DriveOhio, the Eastgate Regional Council of Governments, and the Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber will postpone the 2020 Ohio Smart Mobility Summit in the interest of public health during the COVID-19 outbreak.

The 2021 Ohio Smart Mobility Summit will take place on July 15 and 16 at the Covelli Centre in Youngstown, Ohio. The Eastgate Regional Council of Governments will be in contact with all 2020 ticket holders to issue a refund.

“We’re fortunate to have a great leader like Governor Mike DeWine, who continues to put the health and safety of Ohioans first,” said Patrick Smith, interim executive director of DriveOhio.

The 2021 event will feature live demos, vendor exhibits, and guest speakers focused on automated and connected smart mobility solutions on the ground and in the air.

“Though it’s now farther out than anticipated, this summit will be a great opportunity for local communities, government, industry, and research institutions to discuss collaborative initiatives around automated, connected, electric, and shared technologies in Ohio,” Smith said.
