Yesterday, at his daily Coronavirus Briefing, Gov. DeWine stated he was seeking early release for a select group of 167 prisoners from DRC prison facilities. These persons are near the end of their sentences, and the Governor screened out violent offenders and sex offenders. Our office received a copy of the list this morning, and it contains no prisoners sentenced in Knox County.
