The priority of this job is accuracy in the handling of merchandise delivered to/from the Carr Supply Warehouse and safe and on-time deliveries to customers including:
* Deliver a variety of products to different customers and locations depending on order
* Follow established routes and time schedule
* Load, unload and inspect orders to ensure accuracy of order and no damages
* Make all scheduled deliveries for the day
* Professionally and courteously represent Carr Supply to the customer including wearing Carr Supply logo attire during every delivery
* Take detailed pictures of every delivery to document condition delivered to the customer
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers
* Ask for feedback on deliveries and work to solve customer problems/complaints
* Provide customer feedback and observations to management
* Complete all paperwork accurately and promptly
* Responsible for maintenance and daily upkeep of the delivery truck
* Adherence to all DOT regulations and DOT and OSHA safety requirement
* Receive and unpack of deliveries promptly and accurately
* Check that delivery quantities match the shipping documents
* Consistently store deliveries in appropriate bin/location within the warehouse
* Accurately pull merchandise to be shipped from the warehouse
* Package all merchandise to avoid damage in shipping
* Pack customer orders to facilitate easy unpacking
* Accurate preparation of shipping documents
* Maintain a clean and organized receiving area to avoid accidents
* Adhere to all OSHA safety requirements
* Be willing to perform any job/task as assigned and needed to meet customer expectations
Skills Needed:
* Valid professional driver’s license
* Good driving record with no violations
* Excellent time management
* Ability to lift 75 lbs.
* Ability to work at height
* Ability to work in inclement inside/outside weather conditions
* Ability to operate a variety of warehouse lift equipment
* Ability to work effectively on a team
* Ability to effectively communicate with others
* Strong organization skills
* Strong attention to detail
Hours: Monday thru Friday 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
