The Mount Vernon Police Register that was posted on February 12th, 2019 has been amended following a complaint regarding the accuracy of the content. The Mount Vernon Grapevine has verified that the article in question is a 100% accurate representation of the information received from the source. There was some question as to the accuracy of the information received.
Upon investigation, we received a statement from the source at the Mount Vernon Police Department regarding the four individuals listed as being charged with theft on December 6, 2018.
“All four of these subjects have not been charged yet, their cases are under review.” said Wade Grogg of the Mount Vernon Police Department.
The names of these individuals have been removed from the original post due to the cases being reviewed.
