•Serves as County Board MUI Contact by: ◦Managing the receipt of UI/MUI reports,
◦Reviewing all incident reports submitted,
◦Reporting MUI allegations filed by the County Board and ensuring that appropriate parties are notified as outlined in the MUI rule;
•Enters all investigation information on the Incident Tracking System necessary to maintain reporting requirements;
•Follows strict daily timelines to maintain compliance with MUI Rule;
•Coordinates the receipt of investigation evidence, documentation of immediate actions, prevention plans and follow up, initial and final letters and recommending and closing cases to assist in maintaining the health and safety of individuals;
•Maintains MUI file for County Board;
•Reviews files and participates in accreditation reviews conducted by the Department;
•Supports customers by providing technical assistance and training for county staff, local agencies, etc., as requested by member counties, this includes supporting information, documents, and materials;
•Markets new products;
•Supports new customers by providing training, assistance, and support;
•Provides interim services to customers;
•As required per the MUI rule, attends annual MUI training;
•Works cooperatively with County Boards, Providers, Guardians, Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities, and Investigative Agents;
•Works as a team; team building, assisting others as needed, discussing, and maintaining good communication with new and current staff.
•May participate in any UI or MUI committee established by the County Board, annual and semi-annual UI/MUI analysis;
•May develop reports and/or participate in the MUI County Board Stakeholder analysis committee, and;
•May participate in the development and/or expansion of current/new services that will enhance services provided
• Participates in and provides ongoing training/technical assistance for County Boards regarding the MUI process;
• Other duties as requested.

Education and/or Experience:
• Associate Degree in related field with relative experience is required. A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred;
• Relative experience in monitoring, analysis, and review of delivery of services for persons with developmental disabilities;
• Experience in the field of human services, social services, criminal justice or closely related fields and/or experience in conducting administrative investigations.
