A complainant of the 40 block of Sychar Road in Mount Vernon, reported that two trail cameras were stolen from a property on McCament Road on September 21st, 2018.

A complainant, of the 2000 block of Millersburg Road in Utica, advised that someone came onto his property and took a trailer axle belonging to him on October 5th, 2018.

A victim, of Kenyon College, advised that a cell phone was stolen from the tennis court at Kenyon College while he was playing tennis on October 6th, 2018.

During a vehicle stop for speeding and loud exhaust, Ervin A Miller, of Danville, was arrested for OVI after failing a sobriety test. Miller was transported to the Knox County Jail and his vehicle was impounded on October 7th, 2018.

A victim, of the 6000 block of Newark Road in Mount Vernon, advised that someone had broken into his residence. The incident occurred between September 23rd and October 7th, 2018. Items taken were 1 mother of pearl drum set, an antique saddle with silver metalwork, an antique marble chess set, 1 champagne fountain with gold trim glasses, 2 gray storage bins with random antique cookware and a 22-inch push mower. Photos were taken of the scene.

A complainant, of the 13000 block of Wade Road in Mount Vernon, reported that drugs were discovered in an abandoned campsite under a bridge on Banning Road. Drug paraphernalia was disposed of and a checkbook was seized and placed into evidence for safekeeping on October 7th, 2018.

Amber M Tarrh, of Mount Vernon, was arrested for assault after a fight at the Bad Apple Pub, in Howard, on October 7th, 2018.

A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle for an equipment violation. Criminal indicators were observed and a K-9 conducted a sniff of the vehicle. After a positive indication on the vehicle, drug paraphernalia was found. Bryan Pruitt, of Mount Vernon, was the passenger and was arrested on October 8th, 2018.

A complainant, of the 17000 block of Gambier Road in Mount Vernon, stated that a vehicle that appeared to be from Donato’s Pizza arrived at her residence around 2:00 AM on September 23rd, 2018. Her daughter went to the front door and saw a male get out of the car and come up to the front door and knock. When they did not answer the person went around the house and knocked on several doors. The victim called Donato’s the next day and spoke with someone that stated that the store was closed at that time and there should not have been any employees out making deliveries. A reported was filed to document the incident on October 8th, 2018.
