CH411, R415, E419, G412, G414 were dispatched at 8:30 pm Tuesday evening to the 17000 block of Buena Vista Drive on a report of single vehicle MVC involving an ATV with two patients with head injuries. Fredericktown EMS responded with two medic units.
Upon arrival at the scene, two patients were down on the ground with injuries. FCFD personnel assisted EMS with patient care. The two closest medical helicopters were dispatched to the scene where a landing zone was established for Air Evac 107 and MedFlight 5. Both patients were transported by air to Columbus area hospitals.
The FCFD had 10 firefighters and two cadets respond to this call. All FCFD units were back in quarters by 9:48 pm.
