CH411, CH412, R415, G412, G414 were dispatched at 5:17 pm on Saturday to the 7000 block of Yankee Street on a one-car motor vehicle crash with injuries. Fredericktown EMS responded with two medic units as well.
Upon arrival to the scene by CH412, a single car was found on its top with heavy damage, two victims in the ditch with bystanders holding c-spine. Firefighters assisted medics with patient care. Medical helicopters were dispatched to a landing zone nearby the scene, however, the victims were transported to Knox Community Hospital.
Firefighters kept the scene closed while the Ohio State Highway Patrol conducted their investigation. Crews disabled the vehicle once it was rolled over by the towing company.
The FCFD had 10 firefighters and one cadet respond to the call. All FCFD units were back in quarters by 8:45 pm.
