The annual Mount Vernon Recreation Department Easter egg hunt will be Saturday, March 31, 2018, at Memorial Park. The hunt will be for kids age 0-13 and will begin at 10:00 a.m. The age brackets will be 0-2, 3-4, 5-8, and 9-13. Many local businesses have donated prizes for the event. Prize eggs will be numbered and scattered throughout the park. Bring a basket to carry the eggs, and come join the fun. For more information, contact the Recreation Department at (740) 397-0979.
