Feb 14
DPD responded to the fire station on West Walnut Street where an adult male came there on station advising that he had received a gunshot wound to his leg. The male was one of three occupants in a vehicle when the incident took place on Danville-Jelloway Road. The gunshot victim was transported to KCH by the emergency squad. DPD had the two other passengers remain until the Knox County Sheriff’s Office arrived to investigate the shooting.

Traffic complaint of vehicle having improper lighting on East Main Street.

Feb 15
Two separate Traffic complaints of vehicles speeding in school zone on South Market Street.
A female reported Telecommunication threats made against her on Tough Street.
Welfare check requested of an individual on North Street.

Feb 16
Conducted K-9 search for illegal drugs/contraband w/positive hit for an outside agency on Dennison Road.
Traffic complaint on vehicle failure to stop for stop sign area of South Market and Walnut Street.
Traffic complaint on vehicle with its muffler dragging in the area of East Main Street and Linwood Street.

Feb 17
Traffic complaint on vehicle not using turn signals area of East Main Street and Cedar Street.
Traffic complaint on vehicle w/only one headlight on East Main Street.

Feb 18
Responded to an alarm drop at the Family Dollar on South Market Street. Business checked OK.

Feb 19
DPD had been directed to immobilize a particular vehicle via the ‘Club’ in November of 2017. Vehicle immobilization was released, DPD removed the device.
Requested to provide K-9 assist at a residence on Clutter Road by an outside agency. Was told to disregard while en-route.
