FHS Senior Nancy Avery, second from right, is pictured with three other county students who were recognized at an Exchange Club of Mount Vernon/Knox County ACE Award banquet today. The annual ACE Award recognizes high school students who have made a dramatic change in performance during high school and are planning to attend college. These students have overcome great physical, emotional and/or social obstacles. Nancy plans to attend Mount Vernon Nazarene University in the fall.
