Lost & Found
On 1/16 a citizen turned in a found cell phone to DPD. Owner of phone was contacted.

Assist
On 1/16 DPD gave assistance to the Eastern Knox County Fire District in Brinkhaven re:house fire.
On 1/17 DPD assisted the Danville Emergency Squad on E. Walnut Street.
On 1/17 a DPD CIT Officer responded to E. Washington Street on individual who was speaking of doing self harm. The CIT Officer spoke with the individual and was able to convince the individual to be transported to KCH for an evaluation.

Suspicious Vehicle
On 1/16 a DPD officer observed & investigated a suspicious vehicle sitting in the Village Park on S. Market Street.

Welfare Check
On 1/16 New York State Police contacted DPD requesting DPD do a welfare check of two children ages 2 & 3 who are in Danville but their mother is in New York. A DPD officer made contact with the children on Plum Street and confirmed welfare is OK.

Theft
On 1/17 DPD took theft of money ($30) from the Hometown Market on Millersburg Road.

Harassment
On 1/17 DPD took report of person being harassed via Facebook on S. Cedar Street.

Traffic Citation
On 1/17 DPD issued traffic citations to Corey Brown age 35 of Columbus for Driving Under Suspension and for Expired License Plates.
