With the rain over the last 24 hours, there are numerous reports of roads being closed around Knox and surrounding counties. Please take these closings seriously and do not attempt to cross roadways that are flooded, water depth is not known and the road may have washed out.
Even in areas not flooded, there is standing water on roadways that potentially could cause you to hydroplane and lose control.
More rain is expected throughout today.
