Offenses

July 19
Units responded to the 200 block of Newark Road for a reported assault. Brittany Bennett was arrested for domestic violence.

Units responded to the 600 block of West Gambier Street, Mount Vernon, Ohio 43050 in reference to a male kicking things and chasing kids. The male was later found and arrested.

July 20
An officer was dispatched to a stolen vehicle complaint at a business on Verndale Drive. An investigation is pending. This report will be supplemented with further information.

An officer responded to a breaking and entering call that occurred over the previous weekend. A report was taken for documentation purposes.

July 21
A violation of a protection order was reported.

July 22
Units were dispatched to the 600 block of West Sugar Street for a disturbance between neighbors. Upon arrival, units made contact with the neighbors and warned them on their conduct. A report was taken and will be forwarded to the City Law Director’s Office for review.

July 23
An officer responded to a disturbance on the 800 block of West Chestnut Street. A male was transported to the Knox County Jail.

Officers were called to the area of Coshocton Avenue on an individual with a knife. The suspect was located and arrested. Nothing further at this time.

Units responded to the Grand Hotel, located at 12 Public Square, in reference to multiple vehicles being vandalized.

Units were dispatched to the area of the Children’s Resource Center, located at 17606 Coshocton Road in reference to juveniles running away from the center.

Greg Hunt was cited for 25mph except on State Route outside business districts and alleys.
Caroline E. Reiss was cited for 25mph except on State Route outside business districts and alleys.
Aaron G. Kyle was cited for failure to control/weaving course.
Devin M. Weber was cited for left of center.
Wesley R. Young was cited for operation at a yield sign.
Inderpreet Singh was cited for failure to maintain an assured clear distance ahead.
Mysaiah L. Bray was cited for DUS – 12-point suspension.

July 20
Dawn R. Stanley-Cooper was issued a warrant upon failure to appear.
Brendon C. Moore was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
Nichole K. Byers was charged with theft.
Paul E. Logan Jr. was cited for DUS – 12-point suspension.
Slater Jayden R was cited for expired license plates.

July 21
Johnathan K. Snyder was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
Jennifer L. Dudley was cited for operation at a stop sign.
Joshua D. Curl was cited for failure to display license plates.
Brydan L. McDermott was cited for driving under an FRA suspension and expired or unlawful license plates.
Clinton T. Durbin was cited for driving under an OVI suspension, prohibitions against consumption in a motor vehicle, failure to control/weaving course, and operating a vehicle under the influence.
Cody J. Phillips was cited for expired license plates.

July 22
Jared L. Speck was issued a warrant upon failure to appear.
Kelly L. Keelin was cited for driving under an FRA suspension.
Ashley N. Davis was cited for driving under suspension/revocation.
Lauralee J. Biddle was cited for DUS – 12-point suspension.
Jonathon Shackelford was cited for driving under suspension/revocation.

July 23
Nathaniel Wagner was cited for impersonating a peace officer and aggravated menacing.
Tanner L. Plichta was charged with disorderly conduct – persist.
