Aaron Reinhart Named Interim Utilities Director

Assistant Director of Public Utilities has wealth of experience in Water, Wastewater

MOUNT VERNON, December 22, 2022 – Aaron Reinhart has been named the City of Mount Vernon’s Interim Utilities Director. He began his duties on Monday, Dec. 19, 2022, and also holds the title of Assistant Director of Public Utilities.
He replaces Tom Marshall, who resigned as Director of Utilities for the City at the beginning of December.
Reinhart, a native of Seneca County, has worked in waterworks utilities since the 1990s across north central Ohio, most recently as the Water Treatment Plant Manager for the Village of Crestline in Crawford County. He served as the Operations Supervisor for the City of Mansfield’s Water Treatment Plant from 2017 to 2019, and was a water and sewer operator in the Village of Lexington as well.
Reinhart is also the owner of Aaron Reinhart & Sons Woodworking, LLC, in Lexington.
In addition, Reinhart serves as the chairman of the Zoning Board of Appeals in Troy Township, Richland County, and is the presiding judge of the Richland County Board of Elections.
Aaron and his wife, Alisa, have been married for 25 years, and have three grown children, Darron, Devon and Darcie.
