July 20
The suspect, Jesse R. Martin, was served with an Ex Parte Civil Protection Order by sheriff’s deputies. Martin violated the terms of the protection order several minutes after issuance and was subsequently arrested for the violation.

A complainant called the Sheriff’s Office to report that person(s) unknown caused damage to his roof.

A Complainant advised the battery to a zero turn mower, a Toro in brand name was taken from the mower. Requested the report for record.

Theft without consent on North Acland Street in Gambier.

 

July 21
A deputy conducted a traffic stop on the above vehicle for a traffic violation. During the traffic stop, it was found that the female passenger, Claire M. Roush, had an active warrant for her arrest and she was arrested and transported to the Knox County Jail. A K-9 officer arrived on the scene and did a free air sniff with his K-9 partner and advised that his K-9 indicated on the presence of odor of narcotics. The vehicle was briefly searched and towed to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office. The driver, Dusten R. Bell, was issued a traffic citation for driving under suspension and disobeying a traffic control device.
