Statement from Lt. Governor Husted on Attorney General Yost Injunction Request

(COLUMBUS, Ohio)—Lt. Governor Jon Husted today issued a statement in support of Attorney General Dave Yost’s efforts to file a motion for preliminary injunction against a part of the American Rescue Plan Act:

“The precedent Congress is attempting to set here is that anytime the federal government sends money to state or local governments, they could add strings to control the tax policies of all 50 states.
