A reputable company in Fredericktown are currently looking for Mechanically-Inclined Assembly/Machine Builders to join their team on 1st shift! This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for the right candidate!

Job Duties/Requirements:

  • Must have experience with reading and understanding blueprints
  • Ability to use hand tools and/or machines to assemble parts
  • Conduct quality control checks as needed/directed
  • Work closely with designers and engineers in product development
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • All other duties as needed

The hours are Monday-Friday 6 am-4:30 pm and Saturdays would be 6 am-12 pm as needed.… Read full story

Knox County Grand Jury Finds Police Actions Justified in Two Shooting Cases

(MOUNT VERNON) This week, the Knox County Grand Jury reviewed two cases involving lethal use of force by law enforcement and in both cases decided that the use of force was justified in self-defense or defense of others.
Both cases arose in August 2022, and were investigated by Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation, an agency of the Ohio Attorney General’s Office.

Division of Wildlife Supports Farmers and Hunters Feeding the Hungry With Grant

COLUMBUS, Ohio – December 22, 2022 – The Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Wildlife has contributed $25,000 in a grant to Farmers and Hunters Feeding the Hungry (FHFH) to support local food banks with donated venison.
