AG Yost Sues Columbus Contractors for Shoddy Work

 

(COLUMBUS, Ohio) — Two Columbus contractors who renamed their business multiple times are being sued by Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost for performing shoddy driveway resurfacing work, leaving their consumers feeling both dissatisfied and cheated out of money.

Taxpayers Can Now Upload More Documents to IRS; New Online Option for 9 Notices can Help Resolve Issues Faster

 

WASHINGTON – February 16, 2023 – The Internal Revenue Service announced today that taxpayers who receive certain notices requiring them to send information to the IRS now have the option of submitting their documentation online through IRS.gov.

This new secure step will allow taxpayers or their tax professional to electronically upload documents rather than mailing them in, helping reduce time and effort resolving tax issues.Read full story

Yost Sues Two Used-Car Dealerships Over Odometer-Tampering and Selling Salvaged Cars to Unknowing Consumers

 

(COLUMBUS, Ohio) — Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost has filed lawsuits seeking to dial back odometer-tampering schemes at two Columbus-area used-car dealerships.

The lawsuits against S Automotive and its owner, Simon Nwaru Jr., and Kalango Links and its owner, Korite Michael Kalango, also accuse both dealerships of failing to inform consumers when they were buying rebuilt salvaged vehicles.Read full story
