Mount Vernon Colt Football – One Week Away From Football Season

We are ONE week away from FOOTBALL season! Here are some details YOU NEED TO KNOW:
Tackle Division – 1 st day July 30, 2018, Time: 6-8 pm
Tackle Division practices will be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday

Flag Division – First Day is July 31, 2018, Time 6-7
Practices will be Tuesday and Thursday only 6-7 pm

Cheer: 1st day July 30, 2018 Time: 6-7:45ish

LOCATION: MVHS Practice Fields

TEAMS: Teams HAVE NOT BEEN CHOSEN YET
Athletes will practice with their divisions by age group to start

What to Bring: water bottle and a great attitude

What to Wear: shorts and tee shirt

Restrooms: Port Pots will be on site near concession

Concessions: Full concessions will be run by Patty and J.O.

Cost: Free

MVNU Champions of Character Day

The Mount Vernon Nazarene University generously invited Mount Vernon Fourth and Fifth Grade students to visit their campus and attend the men’s basketball game against Cincinnati Christian University.    During halftime, students and teachers participated in character building exercises that focused on five Pillars of Character:  Integrity, Respect, Responsibility, Sportsmanship, and Compassion.
