This morning, January 4, 2023, at approximately 9:18 a.m., Knox County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to a robbery at the First Federal Savings and Loan located on Main Street in Centerburg. The robbery suspect is a white male wearing an Ohio State jacket, gray hat, and sunglasses. He was carrying a cane and pretending to be blind. He did display a handgun.
The suspect fled the area on foot, possibly in the alley behind the Subway Sandwich Shop on Main Street. A dark gray Jeep Latitude or similar vehicle, displaying a temporary tag may be involved. Anyone with information is asked to contact the county dispatch center at 740-397-3333 ext.1
