Offenses

April 12
• An officer was dispatched to Sychar Road in reference to a suspicious male. Nothing further at this time.

• An officer was dispatched to the 500 block of East Chestnut Street in reference to a fraud. Nothing further at this time.

• An officer responded to West Pleasant Street on a report of a theft from a vehicle. This report was taken for documentation purposes.

April 13
• Units were dispatched to the 100 block of East Vine Street in reference to a burglary. Nothing further at this time.

• A male reported a theft that occurred on South Norton Street. No suspects at this time. A report was filed.

April 14
• Officers responded to Brown Street in reference to a suspicious person. A male was arrested and transported to the Knox County Jail.

• An officer handled a complaint of possible criminal mischief on station.

• Units spoke with a female on Shirley Avenue about drug activity at her apartment. The drugs and drug paraphernalia were collected and will be sent out for testing. A report was taken and will be forwarded to the Knox County Proscecutor’s Office for review.

April 15
• Units were dispatched to the 200 block of Cottage Street in reference to an active burglary. It was determined that a burglary was not taking place. One male was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

• A disturbance was called in on the 1000 block of North Mulberry Street. Henry Castilla was found in an adjacent yard and was arrested for DOC while intoxicated and obstruction of official business.

• Units were dispatched to Knox Community Hospital in response to an individual acting disorderly and refusing to comply with medical staff. He was subsequently arrested and transported to the Knox County Jail.

• An officer responded to Lamartine Street in reference to a vandalism. A report was taken. Nothing further at this time.

• An officer responded to The Alcove Restaurant in reference to a theft complaint. Jonathan Dipadua was subsequently arrested for theft and transported to the Knox County Jail without incident.

April 16
• An officer received a call in reference to a theft on Vine Street. A report was taken. Nothing further at this time.

• Officers responded to Goodwill at 11359 Upper Gilchrist Road, for a possible overdose. The individual was pink-slipped.

• Ashton T. Cody was cited for failure to display license plates and driving under OVI suspension.
• Sandra K. Slusser was cited for 25mph except on State Route outside business districts and alleys.
• Daniel Z. Goudy was cited for ride on right/obey traffic rules.
