The Mount Vernon City Council will conduct a special meeting at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2022, in the lower-level conference room at Mount Vernon City Hall, 40 Public Square, Mount Vernon. The meeting is being held for informational purposes for Council members new for the 2022-23 Council term, and any other interested Council members. Because a quorum of Council members may be present, this will be a public meeting. No legislation will be considered or acted upon at this meeting, and no decisions will be made.
