August 16
Responded to a domestic violence call in the 100 block of Cedar Street. Brian Morehouse age 48 of Danville was arrested, transported to the Knox County Jail, and will be charged with domestic violence, and aggravated menacing

August 17
Assisted the Sheriff’s Office on a suicide-threat call – Apple Valley Drive

August 18
Reported Fraud – in the 600 block of South Market Street

August 19
Telecommunication Harassment – in the 100 block of South Cedar Street

August 20
Officer dispatched on a report of a male lying in the grass asleep and snoring. Upon the officer’s arrival, family members were walking the male, who appeared to be highly intoxicated, to an apartment – in the 200 block of East Walnut Street

August 22
Assisted the Sheriff’s Office by contacting a property owner on Flat Run Road to inform them of an ATV accident on their farmland located at Pipesville Road and Coshocton Road
Conducted a welfare check on an individual that was threatening to harm themselves. The officer provided crisis assistance to the individual – Tilton Street
Courtney F. Smith age 31 of Columbus was issued traffic citations for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, for no driver’s license, and for running a stop sign. Smith was also charged with obstruction of official business for providing a false name to a police officer

August 24
Trespassing – in the 200 block of East Walnut Street
Responded to a business alarm drop. Everything checked okay – West Washington Street
