Knox County Sheriff’s Report – May 18, 2020

A Complainant, an employee with Knox County Adult Probation observed the suspect, Brittany Christine of Mount Vernon, inside the Dollar General Store on North Sandusky Street in Mount Vernon. Contact was made with Christine and the warrant was verified. The suspect was transported to the Knox County Jail without incident on May 16th, 2020.
A traffic stop was initiated with a motorcycle at the intersections of Grant Road and Coshocton Road. The operator, David Mandala of Howard, was cited for a muffler violation and arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated on May 15th, 2020.
A Complainant reported unknowingly depositing a fraudulent check into her bank account. The amount of the fraudulent check was then taken out of the account by the bank. She requested the incident be documented on May 15th, 2020.
